| Buck |
| A male rabbit. |
| |
| Breeder |
| A person who breeds rabbits with the intent of perfection
in relation to the acceptable standards for the breed. |

| Crown |
| The top part of a rabbits’ head. |
| |
| Dam |
| This is a female rabbit that has already had one or
more offspring. |
| |
| Doe |
| A female rabbit. |
| |
| Flat Coat |
| A low-density coat that appears to cling to the rabbits
body. |
| |
| Silvered |
| This occurs when there are many silver-tipped hairs
throughout the rabbits coat that give it a glimmering
silver appearance |
| |
| Slipping Coat |
| A rabbits coat that is shedding fast and in great quantities. |
| |
| Tattoo |
| When referring to rabbits this is a unique identification
number that is put on their ear to permanently identify
them |
| |
| Trio |
| Refers to one male and two female rabbits. |
| |
| Wool |
| When discussing rabbits this refers to a rabbit with
hair 3 to 5 inches in length. Typically Angora Rabbits
are the only ones that fall into this category. |
