Respiratory
Disease |
| |
Common signs of respiratory disease
in rabbits are chronic coughing, sneezing and
overall congestion. The rabbits eyes are often
affected as well.
Although most of the time the affects of respiratory
disease can be dissipated by an antibiotic treatment,
some of the organisms which cause this disease
will remain. This of course means that over time
the respiratory disease can come back. Consultation
with a veterinarian is required to determine the
best course of action, including the right kind
of antibiotics to use.
