The Japanese Hare is found in
many areas of Eastern Asia. It is most often found
in forested or grassy hillsides. When fully grown
the Japanese Hare can be up to 1 1/2 feet in length.
The Japanese Hare changes the color of its fur
quite significantly depending on the season and
what color will allow it to blend into its surroundings
the best. Female Japanese Hares breed all throughout
the year and have up to 6 offspring per litter.
